Product Overview

  • The BR200 Series combines compact design with advanced automation for efficient bioprocess research and development. With interchangeable vessel volumes ranging from 1 L to 15 L, the system supports both single-vessel and dual-vessel control configurations, which offer flexible scalability for microbial fermentation (BR200-M1/M2) and cell culture (BR200-C1/C2) applications.

  • Integrated MFC gas control, Watson-Marlow peristaltic pumps, and intelligent process control ensure precise and reproducible cultivation, while modular expansion options enable customized configurations to support a wide range of research and process development needs.

Vessel Switching

Interchangeable vessels ranging from 2 L–15 L, allowing easy changeover within a single controller

LEVEL 2

Dual-Vessel Control

The primary control unit supports connection to an additional controller via Ethernet communication, enabling centralized control and synchronized operation between two vessels

SCADA 8-Unit Cluster

Optional SCADA integration enables centralized monitoring and management of up to 8 units for parallel operation

  • Smart layout by volume: All critical components are integrated into the vessel lid, enabling seamless configuration of accessories and sensors for flexible functional expansion.

Agitation Port
Maintenance-free, low-noise servo motor. Customized agitation mode, speed range, and impeller options available.
Gas Inlet Port
Supports standard three gas inputs (Air, CO₂, O₂). Customized gas configurations available.
Exhaust Port
Exhaust condenser minimizes moisture loss and reduces exhaust gas temperature.
Temp. Sensor
German JUMO Pt100 RTD, 0–150°C range, ±0.2°C accuracy. Controlled by electric heating blanket and internal water circulation system.
pH Sensor
Hamilton gel-filled pH electrode, pH 2.0–12.0 range, ±0.05 accuracy. Cascade control with acid/base pumps and CO₂ flow, etc.
DO Sensor
Hamilton polarographic DO electrode, 0–150% range, ±3% accuracy. Cascade control with agitation, feeding, and gas flows.
Foam Sensor
Standard foam detection electrode with automatic antifoam dosing via peristaltic pump.
Baffle Port with Cooling Coil
Supports tap water or chilled water circulation. Optional chiller integration available.
Feed Port
Peristaltic pump feeding, or with needle addition.
Inoculation
Standard flame inoculation port.
Sampling
Aseptic sampling device: sterile syringe, Luer connector, one-way valve, T-joint, and needle filter.
  • Built on a Siemens S7 1200 PLC controller, the system supports PID control, cascade strategies, recipe management, and over-limit alarm. Upgradable electronic signatures and audit trails ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP standards.
