Cell Culture - Additive Flow

3 Gas Sources (Air, CO₂, O₂) + Dual Delivery (Overlay & Sparger)

Air Supply – Overlay (Surface Aeration)
- A split air stream is adjusted via MFC
- Filtered through a 0.2 μm sterile filter.
- Delivered to the headspace (overlay) of the vessel.
Automated Gas Blending – Bottom Sparger
- Gases: Air, O₂, CO₂. Each gas is controlled by an individual MFC
- The selected gas merges into a single line
- The blended gas passes through a 0.2 μm sterile filter.
- Enters the vessel via a bottom ring sparger for efficient gas-liquid contact.
