Biological safety cabinet or microbiological safety cabinet is an enclosed, ventilated laboratory workspace for safely working with materials contaminated with (or potentially) pathogens requiring a defined biosafety level.
Lab1st BSC-series cabinet is to serve as a tool to protect the laboratory researchers and the environment from particulate and aerosol hazards. All exhaust air is HEPA-filtered as it exits the biosafety cabinet, removing harmful bacteria and viruses, and discharging them directly into the laboratory, or into an exhaust system through the optional Canopy Connection.
